Presidents of the Ettrick Cemetery Foundation, Inc.
over time has changed and the Corporation board
meeting, records, financing, and other legal matters
including maintence by volunteers and other
supporting foundations have come into question about the
Foundation since the passing of David L. Wright,
the last Foundation registered agent.

Announced Public Meetings will be called and held to chart
a path forward. Major updates will be posted here.
Several public and private social media platforms are active
to promote interest, share ideas, suggestions, and comments.
We welcome all the efforts and interest of those involved.
A dedication service to recognize the Wright Era Contributions
will be scheduled TBA, to be held at the cemetery.

In 2002, David L. Wright became President of the new
Ettrick Cemetery Foundation, then later the registered agent of
the Foundation. With limited funds David was able to get
volunteer help, and the cemetery received much in the way
of maintenance and improvements from other sources.
David L. Wright, the last registered agent with the
State Corporation Commission in Virginia will
be replaced pending the next Foundation election TBA.

Just as previous owners like Sadie & Floyd M. Bowman,
and Mary A. B. Woodruff and brother James plus others, the
Foundation owes lot of gratitude to David Wright for his labor of love
in maintaining the cemetery. A memorial bench and Dedication
Celebration is currently being planned.
