Took Hayden to the National ZOO in Washington D.C. this morning. I said I would not come here again the last time I came her, but it was a nice day and we both wanted to get out. Except for the Giant Panda and an elephant, the only other animals we saw were "Bobcats", the kind used in construction, just like last year and the year before that. Oh, the noise and dust they make, not to mention all the blowers trying to clean the place now that winter is over. There was not pubic drinking water-turned off fro the winter I guess. I used my debit card in a machine to purchase a 20 oz. bottle of water for $3.00, when it came time to make my selection, "sold out" came up, tried each any every selection. all sold out, money gone. We had more fun leaving than staying. Reminds me of the other National ZOO downtown.
