China 1984 - Terracotta Warriors in
Xian
Shaanix China
Xain is a city between two mountain ranges with continuous winds blowing the
soil
creating a dust difficult to breathe. This soil settles on the
ground and over time
allowed the terracotta warriors to "disappear" or be buried.
Recorded in history,
but lost for two centuries, was discovered in 1974 while digging a well on
a field.
The Chinese Government decided to leave the warriors
in place as they where
discovered and build a museum over the discovery.
