Presidential Celebration, Inauguration and Parade
Ground Zero
January 19-20, 2017   Washington, D.C.
Personal Experiences attending this Inauguration.
Witnessing the division, opinions, and emotions of many, all in one location.
Parade

What you can't see on this map are the fences and security check points.
Walking from Point A to Point B required walking along long fenced-in areas
until a opening was found and going through a security check point.
Once in the fenced area, you may discover you want to be move to another
area, and you must leave the way you came in, and walk around to another
opening and check point, even if you just wanted to cross over a street.

It was announced the President and First Lady may get out
and walk a short distance along the parade route.
The Press had the best advantage point, being just ahead
in the parade lineup.  Security was unbelievable.

Crowds pushing and shoving to get a picture proved challenging.

Perfect Parade Location -  Security had their eyes on me.
I had to climb up a road side plant pot to view over the crowds.
The pot was shared by others, the reason some photos are blurred.
