Day 10 & 11  Page 2  - Anchorage, AK

This is where I turn around and head back north.  It was 28F and the melt was freezing and I did not want to
to spend the night here and wait until mid morning daylight before surfaces improved.   Daylight hours are short
and I save the dry roads if I can to drive at night.  I have already driven 2300 miles and expect to add another
1000 before leaving in 9 days.

Things always look different going back than coming in.  Some of this is due to the change of the sunlight.

Well now this was just breathtaking.
