North to Alaska -  2014
Chena Hot Springs

Hot Springs is 60 miles out of Fairbanks, one way in and out.   With 160F water in the winter here in
Alaska, it has become a famous place to visit and with added attractions, now more so.

Getting there driving along the Chena River in and back out will keep you on your toes.

Using the hot springs water to generate electricity on the property and heat the buildings and hotel.

Using the hot springs to heat the greenhouse.  Using LED's instead of bright lights to grow year round.
On the site is a restaurant where you eat fresh grown from the greenhouse year round.
